Meagyn Kryger

Meagyn is a graduate of Niagara College with a Horticultural Diploma. It was during her college co-op at a local flower shop when she fell in love with flowers and developed her talent for floral designing. Twelve years later, she hasn’t left the industry.

Meagyn has gained experience through working at and freelancing for a number of flower shops in the area, as well as owning her own business. She has developed and designed numerous decor plans and floral arrangements for wedding and corporate events within the Niagara Region. Functions have ranged from an intimate wedding of 10 to a New Year’s Eve party of 900.

Meagyn has branched out into other creative fields such as interior decorating, visual merchandising and window design stating, “These fields use many of the same design techniques as floral designing. It’s understanding how to use visual balance, proportion, movement and harmony within a design to have an attractive final product.”

Born and raised in Niagara, Meagyn says, “I am blessed to live in such a beautiful area and truly excited about coming on board with the Niagara Parks Commission. The wedding industry here is alive and there are so many spectacular venues to have a wedding. The flowers will just compliment the already gorgeous surroundings here in Niagara Falls.”
“I have a true passion for what I do. Each client and event is different from the next. After a consultation my imagination starts working. I get excited about how things are going to look. To see it all come together flawlessly and a smile on the client’s face….that’s the icing on the cake….that’s what keeps me coming back for more!”.
